George is a documentary, commercials and film director as well as a photographer. He was nominated for the prestigious advertising award ‘Shots New Director’.
Previous short films as director include ‘Twelve’ starring BAFTA winner Monica Dolan and BAFTA nominee Joseph Mawle; ‘Child’ starring Jeff Stewart which screened ahead of Ben Wheatley`s Sightseers at the London Film Festival and the upcoming ‘Relativity’ starring BAFTA nominated actress and writer, Meera Syal as well as of course Candice starring leading British actors Olivia Poulet and Nicholas Pinnock.
In 2016 George took an ambitious project to take a person`s photo portrait every day for a year and created a project entitled ‘2016 People’, it was hugely successful leading to the project's continuation in 2020, which will add new faces as well as re-visiting faces from the project.
His commercial work includes pieces for Macmillan Cancer Support, Very Retailers and Kidney Research and he is developing a number of projects including an exciting feature length documentary about a major UK organisation.
George also writes regular articles for the Hackney Gazette and the East London Advertiser.
